If you've ever watched a temperature-sensitive shipment get rejected at the receiving dock, you know the sinking feeling. Here's the bottom line I've learned after eight years of cold-chain procurement: the cheapest purchase order is usually the most expensive one. I'm not talking about premium-brand snobbery.
